Thierry Henry is a French Footballer who was born on the 17th of August, 1977 in Les Ulis which is a suburb region in the city of Paris. His current club is the New York Red Bulls. Henry started off his football career playing for many local clubs. His promising talent of scoring goals helped him get spotted by AS Monaco and was immediately signed into the team in the year 1994.
His excellent performance continued and now he was recognized on an international scale and joined hands with Juventus, who were the defending champions of the Serie A tournament for that season. His season was quite a disappointing one with them and was soon signed in by Arsenal in the year 1999 for a whooping 11 million dollar. Arsenal was his major stand point and he rose to success during his stay at this club.
Although Thierry Henry had a little bit of struggle in the initial phases of his career, he managed to successfully become one of the top scorers and was consistent in his performance every season. He also managed to become one of the leading scorers for Arsenal on the whole with a total of about 226 goals including all the matches his appeared in. However in 2007 he was transferred to Barcelona who signed him on for 24 million dollars. Thierry Henry had an amazing array of talent show case in this season as well and was soon selected as a key player for the UEFA Team of the year for a span of five years. Besides this, his other achievements include being nominated for the FIFA Player of the Year twice and even for the PFA Player of the Year. In the year 2010, he decided to join New York Red Bulls and managed to help them win the East Conference Title.
