The Welsh midfielder of Arsenal, Aaron Ramsey has not played a match for Arsenal since picking up a thigh injury during Arsenal’s match against West Ham back in December of 2013.
He was expected to complete his recovery in January but he suffered a setback which has forced him on staying out of the playing grounds for 2 more months.
Ramsey has scored 13 goals for Arsenal in the current campaign which has helped the Premier League club not only on fighting for the top spots of the league but has also helped Arsenal on progressing into the last 16 teams remaining in the Champions League.
The 23 years old midfielder is hoping that he can make his return before Arsenal’s match against Tottenham which is scheduled to be played on March 16. If Ramsey can indeed complete his recovery by that date, it would be good news not only for Arsenal but also for Arsene Wenger as they have to face off against Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton on successive weeks.
While Ramsey is eager on making his way back to Arsenal, the agent of Thomas Vermaelen, has revelead that his client wants to exit the Premier League club at the end of the current season and this has sparked the interest of Wenger on seeking someone who can replace the Belgian defender.
Aymeric Laporte is a 19 years old defender who currently plays for Athletic Bilbao and his impressive series of performances has attracted the attention of Manchester United, Barcelona and Arsenal as they all would like the sign the young defender in the summer when the transfer window reopens.
