The Premier League club as they still have not managed to find a player who could fill in the boots that was left behind by the Welshman. John Stones is a young defender with the ability to play at the heart of the defence or in the right-back position and at his 20 years of age he has already represented England in the international scene but Everton rejected all offers that was launched concerning the promising defender which means that Pochettino will have to look somewhere else for a defender that can help Tottenham and their journey of securing the league title.
Last season Tottenham was able to find the back of the net on 55 occasions but Pochettino wants to increase that amount during the next campaign which kicks off in August which is why he considering adding a few more strikers into the team with Javier Hernandez, Jay Rodriguez and Loic Remy all of which are being taken into consideration.
